FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should you choose private therapy?
Are you frustrated by the revolving door of therapists at large therapy clinics? Do you want your child's care to be consistent and reliable? Private pay services allow for the therapist consistency that your child needs. Your therapist’s smaller caseload size also prevents burnout and increases quality of care. Your therapist will have greater flexibility in treatment methods, more time to develop materials, and more time to collaborate with other professionals to ensure your child receives the best care possible.

Many larger companies and therapy clinics limit your speech therapy sessions to twice a week for 30 minutes. Private pay services allow for the flexibility of treatment frequency and duration that your child may need. You are able to choose 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions for your child with input from your speech therapist on what session lengths may facilitate the best treatment outcomes.
Private speech therapy services allow for your child to have as little as one session per week, to as many as 3 or 4 sessions per week. Through collaboration with your therapist, you can determine the treatment frequency that is best for your child without having to worry about visit limitations from insurance companies.
Do you take insurance?
We accept payment in cash or private funds, such as Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), as therapy is deemed a health-related expenditure. We do not take Medicaid,
or private insurance; however clients may still claim reimbursement from their out of network benefits for part or all of the therapeutic costs.

If you'd like to submit your out-of-network therapy for reimbursement from your insurance company, we are more than happy to provide you with an invoice. This document will include information regarding the diagnosis and treatment codes of the therapy sessions as well as details about times, fees paid, and services provided. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or require additional clarification on submitting out-of-network reimbursement!
Additionally, we provide services for children through VPK-SIS and the Gardiner Scholarship.

Will you collaborate with other professionals on my child's team?
We always welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists, school-based therapists, classroom teachers, tutors, etc.
