We serve children and families in the Tampa Bay metro area, including Hillsborough, Pasco, and Polk Counties. We are also proud to be a Family Empowerment Scholarship (formerly Gardiner) Direct Pay Provider as well as a VPK-SIS Approved Provider. Our online services, including FES and VPK-SIS services, are available to clients located anywhere in the state of Florida.
Evaluations
Speech, language, and literacy services typically begin with an evaluation. Our evaluations are individualized based on parent concerns and developmental history and include parent input, standardized assessments, observation, and therapist-child interaction. Following the evaluation, we will review the results with the family, and together we will develop a plan for therapy based on the child's strengths and challenges. If your child is experiencing any of the following, you may benefit from an evaluation:

At Play on Words Therapy Solutions, we are a specialty private practice dedicated to working with children with speech sound disorders, apraxia, autism, and receptive/expressive language delays. Parent Coaching
We believe parent coaching and education are some of the most powerful solutions to fostering a child's communication, social, and academic development. We are changing pediatric speech therapy by focusing on training and supporting those who spend the most time with their children: their parents and caregivers. Through our coaching services, parents and caregivers are given the tools to support ongoing development at home through building opportunities for practice right into daily routines. Parent coaching is also an excellent option for children who are not ready for direct therapy. Coaching is available to anyone wanting to learn how to:
